Kelley's conviction to her social and political ideals can be heard in her music but she also takes great pride in being personally active in those causes that she holds most dear.

 **June ’06: Kelley and Jen donate their time to perform at The “Beauty For Life” Hair Cut-a-thon, a production of Twin States Network and AIDS Services for the Monadnock Region; a fundraiser to pay for the annual Kids Camp, held every year on Lake Winnipesauke for children infected/affected by HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis C.

**June ’06: Kelley and Jen volunteer their music for a performance at Awakenings Espresso for The Belknap County Citizens Council on Children & Families.

**February ’06: Kelley testified at NH’s Capital against CACR-34; a discriminatory constitutional amendment that would forever state the only legal union that shall be recognized in NH will be that of one man and one woman. If passed, this amendment would set gay rights in NH back decades.

 **October ’05: Kelley and Jen volunteered their music at NH Freedom To Marry’s Annual Pride Celebration in honor of National Coming Out Day. This concert was made into a cable TV program currently showing on Toniq TV (www.toniqtv.com)

 **September ’05: Kelley and Jen donated their time to perform at the NHFTM booth at Laconia NH’s Annual “Multicultural Market Days”; a yearly celebration of diversity featuring music and foods from all over the world.

 **August ’05: Kelley and Jen volunteered their talents and performed at The Annual Horizons Counseling Fundraising Auction. Horizons is a counseling center for people struggling with drug and alcohol addiction.

 **July ’05: Kelley and Jen produced The Voices of Recovery CD project, which was co-sponsored by Horizons Counseling, ForNH (Friends of Recovery NH) and NH Charitable Foundation. This project was an audio CD project including the real-life stories of 11 brave people in recovery willing to share their real first and last names in an effort to raise awareness for the face of recovery and the importance of state funding for rehab programs in NH. Kelley contributed two original songs to the project. The CD was distributed to over 500 medical professionals, community leaders and lawmakers.

**October ’04: Kelley opens for HOLLY NEAR at a “Get Out The Vote” awareness celebration to get new like-minded voters to start voting in the presidential election.

 **May 14th 2004: Kelley and Jen appeared on ABC television affiliate WMUR-TV 9 sharing their personal story of discrimination and their desire to be able to marry in NH. 

 **May ‘04: Kelley testified for proposed hate crime legislation, which would impose tougher sentencing on crimes committed against NH residents solely because of their race or sexual orientation.

**February ‘04: Kelley and Jen testified against NH Senate Bill 427, which was written to deny any Massachusetts couples whose marriage was legal in their state from coming to NH and demanding marriage equality.
